A winch bar is a tool designed to provide leverage in order to tension web tie down winches. A winch bar is fit into the round hole at the end cap to be used. Depending on its usage, a winch bar can be classified as regular or combo. A regular winch is used just for synthetic web winches. A regular winch bar comes in two different finish: chrome and painted. Combo winch bar can be used to tighten the winches or used as releasing the lever chain binder. Please note that the winch bar should not be used to tighten the lever chain binder. All our winch bars have a non-slip, knurled for strength and an easy operation. Combo or Combination winch bars have special handles to be used with a lever chain binder to release them. A new type of winch bar that changes winches to ratcheting winches is called the Rachet Winch Bar. Ratchet winch bar provides a safe and convenient way to release or tension the straps without taking the winch bar out of the hole. A positive lock is available to prevent accidents as well.
